Basic eligibility paths
- Bachelor's degree from a recognised university, or an equivalent qualification (advertisement clause 3).
- Age 21–30 years for most services as of the rules' reference date, with local-resident, category and ex-serviceman relaxations set out in advertisement clause 8.
- Deputy Superintendent of Police applicants must additionally meet the height, chest and medical standards in advertisement clause 8.1(C).
