Basic eligibility paths
- The Board conducts HTET at three levels - Level 1 for Primary Teacher, Level 2 for Trained Graduate Teacher and Level 3 for Post Graduate Teacher - as set out in its HTET information bulletin.
- Under section 23(1) of the RTE Act 2009 a teacher eligibility test pass is a minimum qualification for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII.
- Following the NCTE's 2021 decision removing the seven-year limit, a TET pass certificate is valid for life; confirm the wording on the Board's certificate portal.
- Confirm qualifying marks, relaxations, fee and the language/Haryana-specific conditions in the Board's current bulletin.
