Basic eligibility paths
- Unmarried male and female law graduates aged 21 to 27 years as on 1 Jan 2027 (born 2 Jan 2000 to 1 Jan 2006, both dates inclusive), per the official JAG Entry Scheme 125th Course notification cited here.
- LLB with at least 55% aggregate marks, and eligibility for registration as an advocate with the Bar Council.
- A CLAT PG 2026 score is mandatory for every applicant, including LLM-qualified and LLM-appearing candidates; the score is verified at the Selection Centre.
- There is no separate written examination — the CLAT PG 2026 score is used for shortlisting to a five-day SSB interview, followed by a medical examination.
- The 10 vacancies are notified jointly for men and women and, per the notification, can change with operational and administrative need.
