Who can apply?

Basic eligibility paths

  • DERT invited online applications from citizens of India who are permanent residents of the State of Meghalaya.
  • Hold the NCTE minimum qualification for the paper applied for; the MTET 2026 Handbook and the Paper I and Paper II Guide Books published by DERT set out the detail.

Relaxations & certificates

  • SC/ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD and ex-servicemen relaxations follow the applicable notification.
  • Always check the certificate format and cut-off date in the official notice.
