Basic eligibility paths

• ✓Grade B (Manager) is an experienced-entry post: NABARD's last direct-recruitment advertisement required three years' post-postgraduate experience (two for SC/PwBD applicants) in banking, finance, agriculture and allied sectors or rural development.
• ✓That advertisement also set a consistent 60% academic threshold at 10th, 12th, graduation and postgraduate level for the General discipline.
• ✓NABARD fills most Grade B posts by promotion, so direct-recruitment cycles are irregular; confirm every condition in the official current-cycle notice when it is published.

Relaxations & certificates

• SC/ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD and ex-servicemen relaxations follow the applicable notification.
• Always check the certificate format and cut-off date in the official notice.

Syllabus snapshot

• The last Grade B preliminary paper carried 200 marks over a composite 120 minutes across Reasoning, English Language, Computer Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, Decision Making, General Awareness, Economic & Social Issues (with focus on rural India) and Agriculture & Rural Development.
• Reasoning, English, Computer Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude and Decision Making were qualifying only, and a quarter of the marks was deducted for each wrong answer in both phases.
