- Each Specialist Cadre Officer post has its own advertisement number, eligibility date, qualification, experience requirement, vacancy count and application window — the post's own advertisement is the only reliable source.
- These are experienced-entry posts: Advertisement No. CRPD/SCO/2026-27/02, for example, required two to four years of post-enrolment legal experience depending on the grade.
- Admission to every stage is provisional; candidature is verified against original documents when a candidate reports for interview, and appointment follows verification of eligibility, medical examination and antecedents.

Syllabus snapshot
- In Advertisement No. CRPD/SCO/2026-27/02 the online written test carried 50 marks of objective testing and 50 marks of descriptive testing.
- The objective paper had a General Aptitude section — Test of Reasoning 25 questions/25 marks and English Language 35 questions/35 marks in 45 minutes — plus Professional Knowledge of 50 questions/50 marks in 45 minutes; only the Professional Knowledge marks counted towards merit and the other papers were qualifying.
- The descriptive paper required any five answers out of eight questions for 50 marks in 45 minutes, with minimum qualifying marks decided by the Bank.
- There was no negative marking in that online written examination.
